Hello friends!
Welcome to Mommy Can Fix It!
In our home, when something breaks or needs repair, the first response from my children is: “It’s ok, mommy can fix it!”
You see, I grew up playing and working in my parent’s hardware store which gave me the opportunity to learn a lot. I watched with intense curiosity as the older employees tinkered and fixed various items for customers. On slow days, they would take time to show me the inner workings of a flashlight, how to fix a leaky faucet, the difference between screw types and so much more. The pride would show in their faces when this little girl gave the right advice to a confused customer, all due to their lessons.
Fast forward to today and I find myself fixing just about everything that (inevitably) breaks in the house. I’ve noticed many of my friends and acquaintances outsourcing simple fixes for a lot of money. So I decided to share my, as my husband calls it, “useless information” to the world.
My advice to the world is: Anyone can fix it if this mommy can fix it!
Follow me for my latest tips and tricks on how you can fix it on your own.
Happy fixing!
